Are my items insured during transport?

All items that you have transported by Brenger are insured against damage and theft up to  €500 during the transport period, which is from door to door.


There are some exceptional cases that are not covered by our insurance:

  • Damage that occurs when the courier is helping move the items inside of the home.

  • Damage to glass, stone or consumptions.

  • Damage to items that are excluded by our delivery guarantee, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions, for example: Items larger than our maximum dimensions (400x180x160) or heavier than our maximum weight (200kg).


You can take precautions to minimize the risk of damage during transport. Properly pack and secure your items, use appropriate packaging materials, and consider purchasing insurance for valuable shipments. 


In case of damage, we kindly ask you to file a damage report within 48 hours after the delivery of your transport. We will assess your case and get back to you within 2 business days. Depending on the damage we will either cover the repair costs or the value of the item itself (up to €500).


If you don’t have all the required information available yet, we still ask you to file your a report including the pictures of the damage within 48 hours
