Is my auction transport insured against damage?

Yes! Your auction purchase is also insured when transported via Brenger. Everything you ship with Brenger is automatically insured against damage, theft, loss or misappropriation during the transport — from pickup to delivery.

Just like our other transports, your auction item is insured up to €500 against:

• Visible, physical damage caused during the transport

• Loss, theft or misappropriation of items during transport

What is not covered?

Not everything falls under the insurance. The following situations are not covered:

• Damage to anything other than the transported items (such as your home, stairs, garden or elevator)
• Damage that did not occur during transport (items that were already damaged or incomplete beforehand)
• Internal or functional damage that is not visible upon delivery
• Functional damage to electronic devices
• Damage to packaged items without visible damage to the packaging
• Damage caused while you help with lifting during pickup or delivery
• Damage to items that cannot be transported via Brenger (these are listed as excluded items, such as cash, food and hazardous materials)
• Damage reported later than 48 hours after delivery will not be processed
